We are delighted to be able to offer Forest School sessions weekly for our preschool children. Lisa Wilson is our Forest School Leader and is currently finishing her training.
We are very grateful to St Wilfrids’ school for enabling us to use their grounds to run our sessions.
Our Aim and Forest School Ethos
Angmering Village Forest Preschool aims to provide regular holistic, learner led forest school sessions for all our preschool children. Our sessions offer children opportunities to achieve, develop confidence and self-esteem through hands on learning experiences. Learning experiences are loosely planned to accommodate the interests and curiosity of each child.
Forest School enables children to experience managed risk and make their own decisions, this helps the children to become more confident individuals.
“Forest School is an inspirational process, that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve, develop confidence and self-esteem, through hands-on learning experiences in a local woodland or natural environment with trees.”
